    The Dispatcher RMX is responsible for on time performance, order accuracy and maintaining and growing overall truck fleet while maintaining DOT compliance. Assist in growing the company’s hauler selection, DOT compliance, assure compliance with company policies, risk management, DOT another regulatory requirements. Develop current customer base.

    Responsibilities

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    • Communicates directly with customers to take orders;
    • Uses GPS tracking software, dispatches orders for materials in a timely and professional manner;
    • Ensures all orders are filled properly with the exact materials ordered by customer;
    • Assigns starting and ending times to delivery employees;
    • Ensures maximum efficiency of drivers and material delivery.
    • Directs activities of drivers and investigates overdue vehicles
    • Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, or delayed material

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

     

    Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent
    Preferred Education: Associates Degree preferred.

    Required Computer and Software Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.
    Additional Requirements:

     

    Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent

    Preferred Education: Associates Degree preferred.

    Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience
    Licenses Preferred: Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an automobile
    Required Computer and Software Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Office Software (primarily excel and word)

    • Must have strong work ethic.
    • Ability to work both independently as well as in a group setting.
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
    • Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculatorAbove average written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors)
    • Professional telephone etiquette
    • Additionally, they must be able to use common office tools and technology, such as cell/office telephone, calculator, and other electronic devices. 

    • Ability to work in a stressful, deadline oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making.
