The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the technical aspects and scope of CAPEX projects during all phases of a project, starting with the Feasibility Study and concluding with the complete handover to Manufacturing.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS
Proactively consults and collaborates with a wide range of LH internal functional partners (e.g., Safety, CIP, Manufacturing, Geocycle, Logistics, and Finance). Interacts with Project Owner, Project Steering Committee, PM&E team, OPs team, external Contractors, and other external stakeholders.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Required Education: Bachelor’s/University Degree
Additional Education Preferred: N/A
Field of Study Preferred: Mechanical, civil, electrical or process Engineering
Required Work Experience: Proven project management experience, preferably in cement and/or similar type of heavy industry, with a minimum of 3 years in industrial construction related fields. Solid achievement in industrial facility project management and capital investment projects.
Required Language: English
Travel Requirements: Able to travel extensively to work locations related to the project work.
Size of projects vary depending on the needs of the business in Cement, Geocycle (AFR), and Logistics.
