  • Overview

    LaFarge Jessup Ready Mix, a member of LaFargeHolcim, a leading provider of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has an immediate opening for a Bulk Tank Cement Haul Truck Driver to support Ready Mix Concrete operations throughout Northern, Maryland.  This position is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of cement to various ready mix operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct a proper DOT pre and post trip inspection, and notate any items in need of replacement or repair
    • Upkeep and clean the interior and exterior of the truck
    • Safely deliver cement to all applicable concrete plants, using safe, defensive driving techniques
    • Pull hoses from the truck and pump products into the plant

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
    • Class A Commercial Driver's License
    • Clean Driving Record
    • Three (3) years of commercial driving experience
    • A minimum of two (2)years of tractor trailer pneumatic experience preferred.
    • Ability to work Monday through Friday, and occasional Saturdays
    • Strong safety orientation
