  • Overview


    Holcim (US) Inc., the largest manufacturer and distributor of cement and related construction materials, has an immediate openings for a CSR (Shipping) Technician positions for its manufacturing facility located in Midlothian, Texas.


    Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the Customer Service Technician is responsible for processing customer orders, loading trucks/railcars, and preparing Bills of Lading.  Technician must have basic computer skills, excellent communication skills and be able to work rotating shifts. 



    • Meet orders through proper communication with dispatching service.
    • Process customer orders through SAP computer operating system.
    • Prepare Bills of Lading for bulk truck and rail customers; maintain Bill of Lading load slips and Voided Bill log.
    • Weigh and log inbound truck shipments.
    • Pull and maintain samples for quality control.
    • Process checks for COD customers.
    • Conduct routine safety and maintenance inspections on equipment and make repairs as needed.
    • Prepare work orders/notifications for maintenance repairs when required.
    • Operate trackmobile, forklift, aerial lift, bobcat, and various hand tools.
    • Represent Holcim in a professional manner at all times while in contact with co-workers, customers and vendors. Follow all company policies.
    • Maintain Shipping office, parking area, railroad tracks and silos in a clean and safe manner.
    • Must be able to work rotating shifts.



    Required Education:  High School diploma/GED

    Required Computer and Software Skills: Excel and Word 

    Must be able to:  Read, write and speak English.


    Physical Requirements: 

    Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, lift 50 pounds, and work in both hot and cold environments.  Must be able to bend, stoop and work in awkward positions for short periods of time.  Must be able to work in confined areas and not have a fear of heights.
